Partnership with MidasRWA establishes core credit infrastructure for the new Tether-backed stablecoin ecosystem ahead of its mainnet launch.
September 15, 2025

Maple Finance, a leading onchain asset manager, has announced its expansion to the Plasma blockchain through a partnership with the Plasma Foundation. The collaboration will introduce a $200 million pre-deposit vault for syrupUSDT, Maple’s institutional-grade lending product.
This move marks the first time syrupUSDT has been deployed to a new ecosystem, signaling Maple's strategic growth beyond its original platform. The vault, which will be managed in collaboration with MidasRWA, is designed to establish core credit infrastructure and provide day-one liquidity for the Plasma network, a new blockchain backed by Tether.
By integrating USD₮ liquidity with Maple’s established institutional credit markets, the partnership aims to create a robust financial backbone for Plasma’s emerging stablecoin ecosystem. To incentivize early participation, depositors in the vault will have a final opportunity to earn exclusive XPL rewards before the Plasma mainnet goes live. The vault is scheduled to open on a first-come, first-served basis.
