WisdomTree, Inc. (NYSE: WT) has announced the launch of 24/7 trading and instant settlement capabilities for its WisdomTree Treasury Money Market Digital Fund (WTGXX). This innovation eliminates the traditional T+1 settlement delays, allowing investors to transact seamlessly on weekends and outside standard market hours, treating the yield-bearing fund with the liquidity typically associated with cash.

The development marks a historic first: registered tokenized mutual fund shares under the Investment Company Act of 1940 can now trade and settle instantly around the clock within the U.S. regulatory framework, using a dealer-principal liquidity model. This was made possible through exemptive relief from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and approvals from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for WisdomTree's affiliated broker-dealer, WisdomTree Securities, Inc. Trades will initially settle against USDC, a popular stablecoin, enabling real-time movement into yield-bearing assets and reducing cash drag in portfolios.

Initially available to institutional investors via the WisdomTree Connect™ platform, the functionality may expand to retail users through WisdomTree Prime® in the future.
