Maple Finance has launched its yield-bearing stablecoin, syrupUSDC, on the Arbitrum network. The expansion allows users to earn up to 35% APY through a combination of Arbitrum's DRIP campaign and other partner incentives.
syrupUSDC is now available as collateral on DeFi lending protocols Fluid, Morpho, and Euler. This integration of syrupUSDC, an ERC-4626 token, aims to enhance its utility as a productive asset across the DeFi ecosystem. The move is part of Maple Finance's strategy to establish itself as a trusted institutional asset manager on-chain.
The launch is amplified by Arbitrum's "DeFi Renaissance Incentive Program" (DRIP), a $40 million initiative designed to accelerate DeFi growth and liquidity on the network. In addition to the new integrations, a representative from Syrup will be speaking at Korea Blockchain Week, discussing the state of crypto yield and on-chain asset management.
