Quick Take
  • Sharon AI, a public Australian Neocloud operator, secured a $500M credit facility from USD.AI.
  • The financing is non-recourse, asset-backed by GPUs, and will be used for AI compute expansion in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.
  • This partnership marks a significant use case for on-chain credit providing financing for tangible, high-demand real-world assets.

SharonAI Holdings Inc., an Australian-based provider of AI infrastructure, has secured approval for a debt facility of up to $500 million from USD.AI, marking a significant step in financing large-scale GPU deployments for advanced AI workloads.

The non-recourse, asset-backed financing will be delivered through USD.AI's innovative on-chain credit system, allowing Sharon AI to tap into stablecoin liquidity without relying on traditional banking or private credit markets. This structure aims to enable capital-efficient growth, with the company planning to draw down an initial $65 million as early as the first quarter of calendar year 2026 to fund GPU deployments.

Sharon AI, listed on OTC Markets under the tickers SHAZ and SHAZW, specializes in building secure, high-performance computing infrastructure optimized for AI training and inference. The new facility comes on the heels of a recent $100 million convertible note capital raise, which is intended to accelerate deployments across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

"This partnership with USD.AI represents a forward-thinking approach to financing AI infrastructure," said James Manning, Co-Founder and Chairman of Sharon AI. "Their market-leading GPU financing model will help us rapidly scale our compute capabilities to meet the needs of hyperscale, research, enterprise, and government clients in the region."

USD.AI, developed by Permian Labs, has been expanding its GPU-backed financing offerings, with Sharon AI joining a roster that includes QumulusAI and Quantum Solutions. To date, the protocol has approved more than $1.2 billion in guidance and non-recourse facilities for AI infrastructure operators worldwide.
