Quick Take
  • Circle's CPN now supports local payouts in the European Union (EUR) and India (INR).
  • The expansion is enabled through a partnership with crypto treasury management platform Saber Money.
  • The connection utilizes existing payment systems: SEPA for Europe, and IMPS, RTGS, and NEFT for India.

Circle Payments Network (CPN) has expanded its global reach by opening payout corridors in the European Union and India. The new functionality is enabled through a partnership with Saber Money, a platform specializing in crypto treasury and payment operations.

This integration allows businesses on the CPN to settle payments in euros (EUR) via the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and in Indian rupees (INR) through local payment systems including the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), and National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). Saber Money facilitates the process by handling the conversion from stablecoins to the respective local fiat currencies.

The move marks a significant step in bridging the gap between stablecoin infrastructure and traditional financial rails. By connecting to established, near-instant payment networks, CPN enhances its utility for mainstream use cases like global payroll, B2B supplier payments, and remittances.
